How Way House Works

Way House combines the clinical intensity of PHP or IOP with the structure and accountability of sober living. Days are spent in clinical programming at our Tinton Falls facility. Evenings and overnights are in a supervised, substance-free residence with peers in recovery.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Morning (9AM - 12PM)

Process groups, CBT-based skills training, and individual therapy. Groups are clinician-led and focus on relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and recovery skill-building.

Lunch + Peer Time

Lunch on-site followed by structured peer time and check-ins. Peer connection is one of the strongest predictors of long-term recovery.

Afternoon (1PM - 5PM)

Specialty groups (trauma, dual diagnosis, family dynamics), case management, recovery planning, and life skills (employment, finances, healthy routines).

Evening (5PM Onwards)

Return to sober-living residence. Structured house meetings, peer activities, and personal recovery time. Curfews, drug testing, and house rules maintain accountability.
