Alcohol use disorder (AUD) is one of the most prevalent and destructive substance use disorders in the United States. At Archangel Centers in Tinton Falls, NJ, we treat alcohol addiction at every level of outpatient care: Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and standard outpatient programming.

Our alcohol rehab program is built on evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention planning. Every client receives an individualized treatment plan developed by our clinical team within the first 72 hours of admission.

Levels of Alcohol Rehab Care

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

PHP is our highest level of outpatient alcohol rehab. Clients attend 5-6 hours of programming, 5 days a week. PHP is appropriate for clients who have completed detox and need intensive structured care without residential placement.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

IOP provides 9+ hours per week of group therapy, individual counseling, and skills development. Clients return home or to sober living each evening, maintaining real-world commitments while receiving serious clinical support.

Standard Outpatient

For clients in sustained early recovery or stepping down from IOP, standard outpatient provides ongoing clinical check-ins and group support. Flexible scheduling accommodates work and family responsibilities.

Detox Coordination for Alcohol Withdrawal

Alcohol withdrawal can be medically dangerous. Archangel Centers does not provide direct medical detox, but our Detox Concierge service coordinates placement into trusted, licensed medical detox facilities in NJ at no charge to the client. Once you are medically stable, we transition you directly into our outpatient alcohol rehab program.
